When midday approaches and it becomes warmer, a walk or swim in “Ventas Rumba” will be exactly what you need. The waterfall is the widest one in Europe- it’s definitely worth seeing!
After the waterfall visit we will take a short and explorative walk through Kuldīga old town. The charm of Kuldīga’s city lies in the small, paved streets and wooden houses with red tile roofs. This city has a long history and a romantic feel.
Next after visiting the city and having a picnic, we will explore Riežupes sand caves. These caves are the third longest underground cave system in the Baltic States with the total length of two kilometers, of which presently only 460 meters are accessible to visitors. The caves were man-made during the 18th and 19th century as a result of sand excavation for glass production. Temperature in the caves is constant all year around at a chilling +8 degrees centigrade.
